Introvert

I imagine there's a lady out there somewhere. She comes from a traditional upbringing, and she should've been married by now. But her wounds and her personality have her thinking her better chances are in staying inside. She doesn't want to party at all.

On the other side, her partner is the same, and they haven't seen each other since way back when. Hence my favourite line:

“Na saa zingine me nawaza ah, nikienda party tutaonana aah, na miili yetu itagongana ah, moyoni bado nabishana ah.” Sometimes I think, if I go to the party we'll see each other, our bodies will bump into each other, and my heart is still arguing with itself.

Two versions of the instrumental existed, but only one was recorded on. Only God knows where the second one is.

Some people aren't hiding. They're just waiting for a reason worth leaving the house for.

The love of your life can be the reason you go to every party. And the reason you stop going at all.
